The Best Managed Facility Awards are established by the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) to give recognition to the best managed facilities in Hong Kong together with the corresponding management teams. Different from last year, how well a particular facility is managed is the focus of the Awards for 2004. This ensures that a wider group of FM service providers are eligible for the Awards.

 

The Awards aim to promote the pursuit of excellence within the FM industry and encourage the sharing of best practices among FM professionals through competition. The Awards also help to promote the FM profession to the community. This is conducive to achieving HKIFM’s core objective, which is to promote facility management as one of the leading disciplines and professions in the management of built assets and facilities in Hong Kong.

  • All participants will benefit from an independent assessment of their own performance so that each participant can appreciate his/her strengths and weaknesses.

  • The recipients of the Awards will be publicized territory-wide in the media.  This means that the honours will reach not only the FM profession but also the community at large.

  • The winners of the Awards will receive a permanent memento, and are entitled to display the Award’s logo for one year on the company’s print matters, press advertising and other promotional materials.

  • The winners of the Awards will also enjoy one-year free membership of the Professional Facility Management Establishments (PFME), subject to the fulfillment of the registration criteria.

The Awards logo is the sole property of the HKIFM. Without prior permission from the HKIFM, use of the logo for any purpose is prohibited.

 

Winners of the Best Managed Facility Awards are eligible to use the logo, for a period of one year, to demonstrate their well-recognized achievement in Facility Management.
