PFME:

Professional Facility Management Establishments (PFMEs) are organisations that are active in advocating quality practice in the management of the built environment and facilities and the promotion of facility management as a prime profession.

2. Criteria for Registration as a PFME

• have at least one HKIFM corporate member or honorary fellow;

• be a service provider, facility management undertakings, education or research entity, etc.;

• be active in advocating quality practice in the field of facility management and the promotion of facility management as a prime profession;

• be in good standing in the local community; and

• subscribe to the HKIFM's Vision and Mission.

The decision of the Council of the Institute on registration is final and no reason will be given for not registering individual organisations.

The establishment can:

• engage in networking with FM practitioners in Hong Kong and elsewhere through established channels;

• use thelogo;

• have a linkage on the HKIFM Homepage under a categorized list;

• reach the HKIFM membership through a designated contact; and

• have such other benefits as solicited by the Institute from time to time.
