 Mr. Kam-hung Yu
Kam-hung is the Senior Managing Director of Hong Kong, Southern China
and Taiwan and the Senior Managing Director of Valuation & Advisory
Services, Greater China of CB Richard Ellis.
In addition to Kam- hung ‘s senior management roles in CBRE, he is the
current President of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) as well as is a
Fellow member of various professional institutions namely, The Hong Kong
Institute of Surveyors, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the
Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administrators.
Kam-hung is a Chartered General Practice Surveyor with over 25 years of
valuation experience in Hong Kong and the PRC, specialising in the valuation
of properties and businesses as well as the marketing of investments and
development sites. The types of properties he has transacted include inter
alias, whole block offices and residential buildings, shopping centres, projects
under construction, development sites and agricultural land. His main
experience includes land advisory services, portfolio and securitisation
valuations, rent review negotiations, litigations, government lease modification
applications, premium negotiations, site valuations, development site sales,
investment sales and property developments.
In 2004, Kam-hung played a leading role in the preparation and issuance of
the 1st Business Valuation Standards and the 1st Property Valuation Standards
for the HKIS. He also holds a leading position in Hong Kong Business
Valuation Forum formed by HKIS, HKSFA and RICS (HK Chapter).
