Stephen leads the real estate analysis, investment strategy, and portfolio allocation arm of Zeppelin Real Estate Group, a Hong Kong-based real estate consulting group involved in China real estate development, investment, and management. Prior to this, Stephen has had years of bricks and mortar experience in building economics, project management, property management, and brokerage and was involved in both overseas and local projects.
Stephen also develops the group's real estate knowledge website www.Real-Estate-Tech.com which now contains close to 1,000 content articles, in English and Chinese, many of which have been published in prominent newspapers such as China Daily, the Hong Kong Economic Journal etc and other websites. Stephen is also invited to speak to audiences from universities, business associations, and professional institutes from time to time. He is an honorary adjunct professor with the University of Hong Kong and the City University of Hong Kong.
Stephen's analysis tends to be independently-minded and inquisitive, not always follow the concensus, and introduce complex percepts in a simple manner. Unlike analysts who worship maths and economics, Stephen uses a combination of quans, intuition, and common sense.
