The development of Facility Management (FM) as a discipline or an approach in managing real estates facilities and support services of corporations and institutions has been rapid over the past years in the region.
With internationalization and globalization of services the trend now apparently is further elevated to the level of global FM. It is hence high time for holding a conference on the new world order of FM to examine its development from the local to global perspective.
The main purpose of the conference is to promote FM services both in Hong Kong and the Mainland. It also serves as a platform to build in FM professionals and strategic thinkers from the worldwide to facilitate their interchange and dialogues. The conference programs are appropriately grouped under internal/global outlook, local/regional perspectives and strategic/operational perspectives to reflect its theme. |
