6. Application Procedure
At present applications will be considered four times a year in March, June, September and December. Only applications received in the first month of the quarter will be considered in the quarter. Interested applicant should obtain an application form from the Institute, complete all the sections in the form, sign and return by post to the Institute with the application fee and required documents to:
The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management Ltd. Applications will be considered in the next meeting of the Committee and results to be endorsed by the next Council Meeting. Applicants will be notified in writing of the results of application. Any fees paid will not be refundable. A certificate will be issued to corporate members and honorary fellows by the Institute upon admission to signify the status and commitments of the member. A unique membership number will also be assigned to all members for identification purposes. 7. Application and Membership Fees
All members shall pay an annual membership fee in accordance with the following scale:
The annual membership fee shall be payable on the 1 July of each calendar year. Any new member who join the Institute on or after the first day of January may only pay half of the prescribed amount of annual membership fee that first time. The fee scale will be subjected to change as may be amended by the Council from time to time.
